7th Annual Denver Nook Pet Parade—Sat, October 19

Can I interest you in watching dozens of adorably costumed dogs and other pets trotting down Tennyson Street to raise money for animals in need on Saturday, October 19?

Not sure? Try watching then tell me:

This year’s Pet Parade is the 7th Annual, and this year it’s going to be even better than ever!

Why? Here’s why:

  1. REGISTRATION IS FREE THIS YEAR!

  2. PRIZE Categories! There are trophies for 1st and 2nd place in Group Costume and Individual Costume. We will have an award for Best Trick, and we will honor our oldest “Grandest Pet”. As always, every registered entry gets a collectible participation ribbon and race number.

  3. Can’t make the parade but want a chance to be next year’s mascot? No problem! this year there will be online voting and fundraising to pick next year’s mascot!

This year you can submit a pic of your pup in costume online here, where anyone can vote on their favorites. The winner will be next year’s parade mascot, featured on all the ads, posters, and swag! It is free to enter, and your friends by votes to cast for your pet that will raise necessary funds for the Colorado Pet Pantry. I’m covering all the admin fees so 100% of your voting funds go directly to Colorado Pet Pantry!

Donations make a huge impact for the Colorado Pet Pantry

The mission of the Colorado Pet Pantry is to temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets to keep them out of shelters and with their families.

Every dollar donated is worth $5 in pet food, which is so important because more and more dogs are being surrendered to shelters these days because of their owner’s economic hardship.

Celebrating our furry friends is so much fun!

I truly love dogs, and one of my most favorite things of having an office on Tennyson Street is putting out treats for the good pups who walk by. Dogs enrich our homes, our families, and our lives, and I am so excited to see all of my fellow dog (and pet) families strutting their stuff on my favorite street in town.
